Welcome to StudioNest! This page outlines both our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Please read carefully to understand how we work, how we handle your data, and your rights as a StudioNest client.

1. About StudioNest

StudioNest is a report-based insight service that transforms the backend reports from fitness platforms (such as Mindbody, Glofox, or ABC Fitness) into clear, actionable insights to help you retain more members, re-engage inactive clients, and grow revenue. StudioNest is not affiliated with or endorsed by any fitness platform mentioned. All analysis is based solely on the data that you, the studio, choose to provide.

2. Terms of Service

a. Service Agreement

By using StudioNest, you agree to provide exported data files from your studio’s booking or member management system. StudioNest processes this data to generate a customized report for internal business use. The service does not make business decisions on your behalf — it provides insights and recommendations based on patterns in your data.

b. No Platform Access

StudioNest does not access your fitness platform’s backend or request login credentials. All data is manually shared by you, the studio, at your discretion.

c. Intellectual Property

All content, templates, insights, and methodologies used in the report remain the intellectual property of StudioNest. However, the raw data you submit remains your property. We do not sell or reuse it for any purpose other than to deliver your custom reports.

d. No Warranty

StudioNest provides insights based on the data available. We do not guarantee business outcomes, revenue improvements, or member retention results.

3. Privacy Policy

a. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data that you choose to send us — such as member attendance logs, membership exports, revenue reports, or other CSV files from your studio’s backend system. This data may include member names, visit history, membership types, purchase behavior, and other non-sensitive business data.

b. How We Use Your Data

We use the data solely to generate your StudioNest report. This may include:

  • Identifying churn risk

  • Highlighting upsell opportunities

  • Flagging retention patterns

  • Benchmarking studio health

We do not sell, share, or reuse this data outside the scope of your report.

c. Data Security

All reports and files are stored securely using industry-standard tools (e.g. encrypted cloud storage). We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

If at any point you'd like your data or reports deleted, please email us at hello@studionest.app and we will comply within 7 business days.

d. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of the data you send to StudioNest. We act solely as a data processor on your behalf. We will never use your data to build training models, make aggregate comparisons across studios, or market to your members.

e. Data Processing Location

StudioNest may store or process your data in cloud-based servers hosted within or outside the United States, depending on the tools used (e.g. AWS, Google Drive, Dropbox). We take steps to ensure all tools used comply with standard data protection protocols.

f. Legal Compliance

StudioNest complies with basic data protection standards and makes reasonable efforts to align with the principles of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As a processor of business-to-business data, we do not collect data directly from consumers or members. If you're a studio operating in the EU or California and require a custom Data Processing Agreement (DPA), please reach out.
